Santiago defeat Chargers in season finale 2-0

Orange, CA - The Clash of the Titans in the first meeting on October 9, the teams tied 2-2. Part Deux was supposed to be the deciding factor for the conference championship. Despite losing to Orange Coast on October 12, the Chargers still stood a chance to win the conference. Until the 0-0 tie with Golden West had knocked the Chargers out of reach. Finishing second would be just as good when comes the seeding for the Regionals. Except that Orange Coast caught up with the Chargers and only a tie or better with Santiago (19-0-1, 15-0-1) would have clinched second. Santiago's momentum for an undefeated season was intact in the season finale for both team and came away with a 2-0 victory over Cypress (15-2-3, 12-2-2.)  The Chargers settled for 3rd place in the conference and awaited for the announcement of the Regionals bracket on November 13.
